I attended Liberty University for my undergraduate. While I was there I took a course on Inductive Bible Study. In that class we were taught how to really read the Bible and what to look for as we attempted to interpret it. The professor also showed us how to use different resources (i.e., Bible dictionaries, Bible atlases, etc.) to get the most out of our study. It was the influence of that courseand professor that has really set me on the path that I’m on today.
My professor and others like him had a huge impact on my life. It was because of them that I decided to go to Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS) in order to further my studies and to help in preparation for full time vocational ministry.
At this point in my life I am about to begin my fourth year in the Master of Theology program (Th.M.) and look to graduate in another year or two.
I wanted to start this blog because I love talking about God’s word. With this blog I hope to help those who have a genuine desire to learn God’s word. I also hope to build a community of Bible students that will be able to spur each other along as we study scripture and seek to put into practice the lessons gleaned from it.
